Try Out Scouting
There are a lot of great scout groups in the area. Yet, it is important to find the group that complements your life's commitments and your child's needs.

We focus on small group activities, with strong outdoor, STEM, and performing arts programs, designed to suit the needs of boys and girls of different ages.
We invite you to attend 1st Mitcham Scout Group for up to 6 weeks with no commitments, to evaluate if we are the right fit for your family.
At 1st Mitcham, our focus is on inclusive activities and smaller group programs. We pride ourselves on catering to neurodivergence, gender equality, and youth seeking a quieter environment.

All Adult members have WWC approval, and several are professional educators.
Hall Hire
Our Scout Hall is available for hire to the public on application. It is a popular choice for reasonable-sized community events, meetings, children's activity and fitness groups, martial arts classes, private gatherings, and celebrations.
Our Scout Hall is in ideal, easily accessible with functional basic amenities including kitchens and restrooms.
While being an affordable venue option, the hire fees also assist Scout Groups in meeting program costs and hall and ground maintenance expenses.
